B Bulk Rename

Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 May 2026

1. The service

Bulk Rename is an Android application that renames files on your device according to rules you supply. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. You are responsible for your files

The rename engine performs real, in-place renames on the files you pick. Although the app shows a diff preview before applying any change and refuses to overwrite an existing target, you are responsible for choosing the right files and the right rule. Always confirm important renames before tapping Apply. The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Bulk Rename to alter files that belong to other apps or the operating system, to bypass Android’s storage sandbox in ways Google’s policies disallow, or to evade DRM. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or extract proprietary components beyond what applicable law permits.

4. Third-party services

The app uses Google AdMob to serve ads and Google Play Services to distribute updates. Their terms apply alongside ours.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost or mis-renamed files.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material updates will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
